Academy Performance Data

Congratulations to all of our students who successfully sat examinations this year after a couple of challenging years.  They demonstrated great resilience and secured the results they deserved.  The results open up opportunities for students to make choices about what they are going to do next.

Many students from both of the secondary schools have opted to continue their studies at Bradgate Sixth Form (B6) next year. These students have selected to follow a school based academic route based in the B6 buildings at the Wreake Valley Academy site.

There are lots of highlights from our results, from our students in Year 13 at Bradgate Sixth Form securing places on a range of exceptional degree courses to students from Year 11 at both Bradgate Secondary  schools securing a set of grade 8s & 9s and results that equip them well to flourish in whatever they choose to do next.  The following Yr 11 students all acheived results giving them an average grade of 7 or better:

Bradgate Sixth Form

We are immensely proud of all of our students at Bradgate Sixth Form and what they have achieved.

Bradgate Sixth Form is fed by both Wreake Valley Academy and The Roundhill Academy and these results represent the first set since the expansion of the Sixth Form in 2020 and (like nationally) the first set for two years which have derived from a formal set of exams.
We are incredibly proud of the efforts which have seen outcomes improve significantly since the last time students took formal examinations. Most importantly students have been successful in securing their place on their chosen pathway.

100% of students who wanted to go university have secured a place with 86% of students securing their first choice.

Again, students are studying a wide range of courses which include Aerospace Engineering, Accounting and Finance, Chemistry, Digital Design, Drama, English and History, Forensic Science,  Game Art, Journalism, Law, Mathematics, Motorsport Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology, Quantity Surveying,  Social Work, Veterinary and many others.
Bradgate Sixth Form also has its first student securing their place at Cambridge University which reflects the increasing aspirations of our students.

Students have also secured a range of apprenticeship and employment positions which include Sports Coaching Apprenticeship, RAF Apprenticeship, Wreake Valley Crafts, Mental Health Clinic Apprenticeship (NHS), Policing Apprenticeship, Accounts Department at Next, Symtec.
There are so many individual successes, with many students achieving higher than they thought and a significant number of students achieving straight A* and A grades.

We wish all students the very best in their future pathways.

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government advises that you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years.
