Our community is made up of our students, their families, our staff and our wider partner schools. If you attend Roundhill as a student then you can be sure of receiving, well planned, disruption free lessons, led by highly qualified subject specialists. As a parent, if you select Roundhill then you can rely on regular communication, the highest of expectations and a genuine passion for serving the community through a rigorous and academic curriculum.

Please make the time to come and see the school in action, we are incredibly proud of our young people and happy to show them off.

Mr Hindes —Head of School

Hello to you all!
My name is Mr Hindes. As Head of School my role is to ensure that the quality of teaching and pastoral care you receive at The Roundhill Academy is of the highest quality. My aim is to provide a challenging and engaging curriculum that, together with a wide range of enrichment opportunities, give you the platform to develop to your full potential.

I have worked at the school for 25 years, starting as a Science teacher (which they still let me do occasionally!), and being part of the transition from a High School to an 11-16 Secondary. During this time it has always been the community feel of the school and the exceptional qualities of students and staff that have made it such an enjoyable place to work.

I am looking forward to meeting and working with you all, and I know I speak for all staff when I say we will do everything we can to make your time here both fruitful and enjoyable.

I have worked at The Roundhill Academy for 16 years and I am extremely proud to be the Assistant Head of Key Stage 3 as what gives me most pleasure is seeing my students fulfilling their potential in our rich, supportive and inclusive environment.  We will ensure that you develop into mature and responsible  young people so you can take your place in society in our ever changing modern world.
