We would like to take this opportunity to introduce a new member of staff who will be joining us over the coming months.
The Roundhill Academy has decided to take on a school dog. This decision has been made following extensive research and a full risk assessment has been completed which will be available on our website.
Mollie is a 14-week-old hypoallergenic Cockerpoo and belongs to Mr Westwood.
Mr Westwood has done extensive research and has seen the many benefits having a school dog can bring.
She will have a timetable which allows for time working and to rest during the school day.
Mollie has public liability insurance which means she will be able to come into school.
Mollie regularly goes to the vet for yearly vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
Mollie will be based in the Key Stage 3 area which is separate from the classrooms and the children will only be able to interact with her under strict supervision.
When she is moving around the school she will be on a lead and always with an adult.
Mollie will be introduced to school life over the coming weeks.
If anyone has any known allergies or phobias towards dogs please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
